The Plum Borough School District’s Volunteer Policy (Policy #916) requires all Field Trip Chaperones to submit to the district for review and verification their Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances. Each clearance must not be dated more than one (1) year prior to the date of submission. It will be kept on file for three (3) years.
Once you have acquired the three (3) mandatory clearances (hard copies), go to the Plum Borough Website (www.pbsd.k12.pa.us) to register as a volunteer/chaperone with the Plum Borough School District. Click on the “Resources” tab (far right), and scroll to “Volunteer Clearances” under the “Parent Resources” heading. There is an informational video to help assist you in the registration process. Once your clearances have been accepted, you will be required to complete a brief on-line training. You will receive notification that your registration is complete via email.
