The Plum Borough School District's Volunteer Policy (Policy #916) requires all Field Trip Chaperones to submit to the building principal for review and verification their Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances. At a school board meeting held on March 26, 2013 an approved change was made to this policy that now makes volunteer clearances good for three years. Although clearances will now be good for three years, please communicate with your child's teacher to ensure you will be a chaperone on a field trip before obtaining your clearances.
