School libraries improve student learning!!
Come to the Center library to meet lots of interesting characters, including Junie B. Jones, Judy Moody, The Cat in the Hat, Percy Jackson , Harry Potter and many more!!!
The library is a place that enhances lifelong learning. It is a place where each student chooses a book based on his/her interests. It is also a place where students learn information literacy skills. In the age of information overload, students learn to identify an information need; locate appropriate information; analyze the information and synthesize it.
Students in grades K - 6 have a weekly library/information literacy class. They may check out a book for one week or renew it the next week.
Look on the district website for upcoming event, Battle of the Books for 5thand 6thgrades.
“The library is an arena of possibility, opening both a window into the soul and a door onto the world.”
Rita Dove, former U.S. Poet Laureate
