Dear Holiday Park Elementary Parent and Guardians, 
Snow Makeup Days
School will be in session on Monday, April 6, 2015.  This is due to the cancellation of school on Monday, February 16, 2015.  Click here for the revised school calendar with the changes for the end of school.

Congratulations HP Reflections Winner
Congratulations to all the students who submitted a Reflections entry.  The winners were honored last night at an award ceremony.  Pictures are posted on the Holiday Park Photos page. 
Read Across America
Have you had a turtle name Yertle? Have you heard a Who? Have you had one fish, two fish, red fish or blue fish? Have you eaten green eggs and ham with a cat in the hat? The students celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday today, March 2nd, with many activities.  Pictures of some of these activities are posted on the Holiday Park Photos page.  
PTA Fundraiser
The PTA's Sarris Candy/Yankee Candle Fundraiser orders and money were due no later than Monday, February 16th.  Delivery will be Tuesday, March 24th. 
March PTA Meeting
The PTAs of Holiday Park and Adlai Stevenson will be having a combined meeting on Thursday, March 26th at 7:00 pm.  The meeting will be held in the auditorium at Oblock Jr. High.

Dear Parents and Guardians, Your child’s school attendance is essential to their academic success and growth. We understand that at times your child may miss a day of school due to various reasons. 

Outdoor Recess
Please be certain to properly dress your child for outdoor recess.  As long as the weather is dry, recess will occur outdoors.
