Join us in Congratulating the 2017 Class of Plum’s Distinguished Alumni

The honorees are:

Christopher Cooley (class of 1990) Education/Public Service

Joseph Gassette, Jr. (class of 1977) Computer Engineering

Steven Fabian Lisowski (class of 2002) Communications

James Nesbit (class of 1997) Performing Arts

Suzette Shaffer Schultz (class of 1978) Chemical Engineering

They will be honored at a banquet at the world-renowned Oakmont Country Club on April 23 and will be introduced to the community at the National Honor Society’s Induction Ceremony on April 24.

Both events are open to the public. Tickets for the banquet are $55 and can be obtained by emailing Margie Evans at [email protected] or calling 412-795-8121.

Come and help the community honor these graduates who have brought much prestige to our school district and community and serve as an inspiration to our young people. It is an evening you will not forget.

THE OBLOCK EASTER EGG HUNT
Will be held at the Oblock football field at 440 Presque Isle Drive, Plum 15239 on April 8th from 10 am to Noon. The Hunt is open to all ages from 1-Senior Citizens. It will run in intervals to allow the younger children to get a share of the eggs and then other groups will enter. Proceeds will benefit The Plum Food Pantry, International Girl Up, Plum community concerns and Military Connections (an organization designed to support our troops).

THERE WILL BE AN EASTER BUNNY present for photo opportunities. There will be no charge for a photo with the Easter Bunny; but donations of any size will be appreciated.

ADMISSION to the Hunt is free with a non- perishable canned good donated to The Plum Food Pantry.

Carnegie Museums of Pittsburgh’s discounted admission for ACCESS/EBT card holders
Under the terms of the offer, ACCESS/EBT card holders can present their card and a photo ID at the admission desk of any of the four Carnegie Museums (Carnegie Science Center, Carnegie Museum of Art, Carnegie Museum of Natural History, and The Andy Warhol Museum) and receive discounted admission for up to four people ($3 admission to the Science Center, $1 admission to the others).
 
2017 Plum Community Festival Sponsorship Form
The Plum Rotary and Plum Boro will once again host the Plum Community Festival. The festival will be held on Friday, June 23rd from 5 to 10 pm and Saturday, June 24th from 4 to 10 pm. This event celebrates fun, food and entertainment! Our goal is to host a family-oriented festival that brings our residents and businesses together for an enjoyable weekend.

2017 Spring Registration is Open for PBSA
Online registration for the 2017 spring PBSA season is currently open until February 28.  Anyone who has played in the PBSA during the 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 or 2016 seasons can register online.
