Distinguished Alumni - Class of 2012

Robert A. DeMichiei
Class of 1983
Rob is a senior vice president and CFO, University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC).  His community service includes serving on Plum Borough Council plus being finance committee chair of the boards of directors for the United Way of Allegheny County and the Duquesne Club.

Linda Mulholland Fischbach, Ph.D.
Class of 1965
Dr. Fischbach directs clinical services for families in Dayton, Ohio.  She is president-elect of the University of Dayton Lifelong Learning Institute.  In 1991, she was named to be a George H. W. Bush Presidential Point of Light.  Since 1993, she has been adjunct faculty at Dayton University.

Martin Lee Hoffman
Class of 1971
(September 19, 1953 to August 20, 1983)
Martin is lovingly remembered by family and friends as someone who made the ultimate sacrifice so three children did not perish under the weight of a falling 65-foot pine tree damaged by Hurricane Alicia.  He was awarded the Carnegie Medal in recognition of outstanding heroism.

Marcia L. Rosal, Ph.D.
Class of 1969
Dr. Rosal is director of the art therapy program at Florida State University.  She has published articles and chapters and has lectured across the US as well as Australia, Britain and throughout Asia.  Her book, “Approaches to Art Therapy in Children” has been translated into Chinese.

Lt. Col. John Wasko
Class of 1987
His 20-plus year career included most-recently the pentagon Army deputy chief of staff, G8, program, analysis and operational programming the Army’s $14 billion institutional and operational portfolio.  Assignments have included airborne and air assault units plus deployments in Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia.
